A trip to Stone

A decision to make
Nantwich is a wonderful place

captures the spirit very nicely
A few weeks ago our three wise men met in Nantwich over coffee to discuss arrangements for a canal holiday this year (2013), and as we had determined previously, the Caldon Canal was to be our destination. We had looked at a company in Stone, Canal Cruising Company, and a phone call confirmed the boatyard was closed, however we were speaking to Karen and she offered to meet us at the yard. We like this firm already

We set off for Stone and met Karen who then gave us a guided tour of a couple of boats. Nothing was too much trouble. We decided that 'Sophie Ginger' would be ideal for us as she's a six berth boat and that would give the three of us plenty of space. We were unable to confirm a booking at this time as we needed to check available dates
